Take some Time to Enjoy The VIEW

I went to The View on Tuesday with my friend and her daughter. Here we are right before the show started. As you can see we had very good seats for the show. From where I was sitting I could see everyone except Elizabeth. (One of the cameras blocked my view.) We were all disappointed that Whoopi was not on the show that day. Sigourney Weaver and Tori Spelling were the guests. All in all it was a fun experience and I would love to have the opportunity to go again!

Just a couple of cards

I bought the Just Because Cards cricut cartridge a while ago and I finally had a chance to use it. I made two cards yesterday.

The first one, Bee Happy was made for someone on one of the yahoo groups I belong to. I am sending her a package and I wanted to include a card along with it. The gold cardstock layer was embossed using one of the new Tim Holtz Sizzix embossing folders.
I want to try to make most of the cards on this cartridge and I made the You Take the Cake card because I thought it was a cute card. I love how it turned out!

It's a New Year!

I have really neglected this blog in 2009. I definitely want to keep this baby updated in 2010! To that end I will try to make 2 posts per month. Since I want to have something to post to my blog, I hope it will urge me to scrapbook and make cards on a regular basis all year. Let's see how that goes right!?!

Anyway, here are some coasters that I made for Christmas presents this year. I made them in a number of different colors and they are super easy to make. I don't consider myself the world's best stamper but the beautiful thing is that you stamp your images on tissue paper and attach that to the tiles. Therefore, if you make a mistake, you haven't ruined the tile. Just get another piece of tissue paper.
